New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is expected to have a positive impact on the players and the club as a whole.

Erik ten Hag’s era at Old Trafford ended in disappointing fashion, with the Dutch manager struggling to make improvements at the club and raise the team’s overall standard.

The former Ajax manager was heavily backed by the club with new signings and given ample time to assert his authority, but he failed to do so and actually harmed the club’s progress. a number of club players.

Midfielder Casemiro is a player who suffered enormously under his command. The Brazilian has been criticized for his performances this season and one particular performance against Liverpool at Old Trafford this season received huge backlash from fans.

However, former Man United striker Louis Saha believes Amorim’s arrival at the club will help Casemiro.

Saha was asked in an interview with Betfred about Casemiro’s return to form, to which he responded, as reported by the Daily Express:

“Yes, I think so. You could see how exposed he was in Erik ten Hag’s system and ultimately the tactics were bad.

“We asked too much of Casemiro and it is difficult for him to do well without the good players around him. No matter how many trophies he won, he was going to struggle in this system.

“I think he was disappointed. I am a big defender of him because he never complains and he is aware when he is not playing well.

“With the right balance in midfield and the right positioning, we will see Casemiro playing with a different dimension. He has the quality and leadership that this Manchester United team needs.

Casemiro is still a key player for Man United

The Brazilian midfielder was taken off at half-time against Liverpool at Old Trafford this season but has managed to turn his season around following the departure of Ten Hag.

During Ruud van Nistelrooy’s interim reign as manager of the club, Casemiro looked like a completely different player and even managed to score two goals for the Red Devils in their Carabao Cup win over Leicester City.

If and when he is used tactically in the right way, he can be a crucial player for the Premier League side.

His long-term future at the club, however, is still uncertain, as is fellow midfielder Christian Eriksen who is set to leave Old Trafford according to Fabrizio Romano.
